Praxis' Child Rights Programme contributes directly to improving the position of children through policy monitoring, promotion of children’s rights and advocating for systemic solutions in line with international standards and the best interests of a child. Praxis is particularly committed to ensuring every child has the right to be registered in birth registries upon birth regardless of the status of his/her parents to prevent statelessness, and to preventing and eliminating child, early and forced marriages, eradication of segregation in education, prevention of early drop-out from school and protection of children from discrimination.
Since 2011, Praxis has been a member of the Network of Organizations for Children of Serbia – MODS. As a representative of MODS, Praxis participates in the work of the Eurochild National Partner Network Group, headquartered in Brussels, which consists of 21 national networks from Europe. Since 2007, as a representative of MODS, Praxis has also been a member of the Children’s Rights Council of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Working Groups on Development of National Action Plan for Children and on Early Childhood Development.
